The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society held two days meeting for the staff and capacity building training for filed animators and coordinators on 29-05-2025 and 30-05-2025. The Training began with a prayer, led by Mrs. Vinaya.

aMrs. Vatsala welcomed Father Pius D'Souza, the Director of the organization, and all staff members.

During the meeting, resource person Mrs. Parimala spoke about health management. She emphasized that maintaining a balanced lifestyle through proper nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep, and stress management. It emphasizes preventive care, early detection of health issues, and adopting healthy habits to ensure overall well-being and a better quality of life.

Subsequently, resource person Mrs. Malini provided information on women's empowerment. She highlighted the importance of education, political participation, social inclusion, and health. Valuing women's perspectives, ensuring gender equality, elevating their living standards, and providing skill development are vital steps toward enhancing their status. Furthermore, she informed that various laws are place to safeguard women and girls, and it is essential for women to actively utilize and benefit from these legal protections.
