Hasudi Farm, Shimoga, August 18, 2019: The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society in collaboration with Lions Club Shimoga and Streebandhu Federation Hasudi Farm organized Health Check up camp in the premises of St Francis Xavier Mission centre, Hasudi Farm. Dr S. I. Biradar inaugurated the programme and urged the participants to make the best use of the free health check up opportunities like this that are at the doorsteps. Rev. Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, the Director of SMSSS presided over the programme. He noted that regular health check up is a must so that major health problems could be avoided. He thanked the office bearers of Lions Club Shimoga for joing hands with SMSSS to organize the health check up camp at Hasudi Farm. He also thanked the two doctors for their services. Rev. Fr Stany Mariappa, the Mission Director of St Francis Xavier Mission Centre, Hasudi Farm, Mrs Irene Goveas, the president of Lions Club Shimoga, Mr Roja Shanmugam, Lions Club member, Mrs Manjula, vice president of the Gram Panchayat, Mr Sanjay Kumar, Mrs Prema and Mrs Vijaya, ward members of the Gram Panchayat, Mrs Rani, president of the Streebandhu Federation, Hasudi Farm were present for the programme.
Doctors from Ravi Poly Clinic, Shimoga, Dr S. I. Biradar and Dr Umadevi Biradar, also active members of Lions Club Shimoga conducted the health check up and provided the necessary medicine. 120 people from Hasudi Farm and the neighbouring villages benefitted from the programme. Mrs Mary Stella, the animator from SMSSS for the area along with the office bearers of the Streebandhu Federation, Hasudi Farm arranged the programme.
