“Rooted in strength, blossoming in courage

International Women’s day was organized by Streebandhu federation Jog at the premises of Fathimapura Church Jog on 18 March, 2025. Programme was inaugurated with sticking the words of positivity on the board.

Chief guest Dr Ameena Madiha, KPTCL hospital, explained in detail on the causes of cancer, importance of prevention and early detection to reduce the risks of the disease. She also briefed on the government schemes available for the treatment and to spread awareness the community about it.
Director of SMSSS Rev. Fr Pius D’Souza, elaborated the women related developmental programmes implemented in the organization. He also focused on the sustainable development of the family through women being the member of the SHG.

Rev. Fr Salvador Rodrigus Parish Priest of Jog appreciated the achievements of women in the entire sphere. He said that women have to learn from the achievers and inculcate in them the qualities and climb the ladder of success with courage.

Sr Shwetha, Superior of Christha Prabha Convent Jog, said that women have enormous strength. The power of strength is to be used with confidence for the development of the family and the society. Women should always remain united to achieve progress and to tackle the issues.

Mr Raju the President and Vice President of Town Panchayat Jog conveyed their wishes.
