“Globally united, locally empowered

International women’s day was organized by Streebandhu federation Milaghatta on 20 March 2025. Congress KPCC Coordinator and Maratha Samaj Women's District President Mrs. Kavita Maratha, the resource persons for the programme, addressed the gathering and said that women should grow in all fields, live independently through self-employment, and get all the rights reserved for them. She told women about their rights and being independent in life.

Mrs. Ratnamma, President of the federation, Mr Rajashekar of Shivamogga District Cable TV Operators Association, Mr KH Jagadeesha, Coordinator of SMSSS, animator Mrs Bhanupriya, Radha, a member of the Gender equality Prerana team, office bearers and members of the federation were present.
