Chaitanya, Shimoga, July 19, 2019: The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society inaugurated the Four Wheeler Driving classes for the underprivileged youth of the society at Chaitanya Shimoga on 19 July 2019. This project is implemented in collaboration with FVTRS, Bangalore. 15 dropout and unemployed youth are given an opportunity to access the training and enhance their family through employment.
Rev. Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, the director of SMSSS inaugurated the classes and asked the trainees to learn the traffic rules and regulations and follow them properly so that all on the road are safe. Mr Ravindra, the trainer from Sai driving school explained the rules of driving classes and the process involved in getting the driving licence. He also said that the facility provided by SMSSS should be made productive and valuable to the society.
Sr Premalatha UFS, Sr Laveena Lobo UFS, the office staff and the trainees were present for the programme.
