Oct. 17: A days seminar was organized for all the 10th and PUC students on 16th of October,2012 at SMSSS , Chaithnya.There were around 38 students from 4 parishes such as Cathedral, Ragigudda, Sharvathingar and Gopal . The theme of the seminar was “ Various Career Options Available for the students”.

Mr Arogya Swamy ,a lecturer from St Aloysius Degree college , Harihar was the resource person.It was very informative and students benefited from it. Fr Veeresh V Moras concluded the seminar with his insightful message to all the students. Br Santhosh SJ was the convener of the programe.

Similarly a days seminar was organized for all the Dish volunteers on 23rd of October ,2012 at SMSSS, Chaitnya. There were around 16 volunteers from different parishes of the Shimoga Diocese. The theme of the seminar was “ Various Career Options and Scholarships Available for the students”.

Mr Stephen Quadros was the resource person. The seminar was very enlightening and thought provoking. This seminar was organized in view of Training the trainees(TOT).  So that the volunteers who attended this seminar may in turn enlighten the students in their respective parishes and enhance their knowledge.
