Hasudi, Shimoga, June 11, 2019: Grama Panchayat, Hasudi, the Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society under the banner of Streebandhu Federation, Hasudi and Government Primary School, Hasudi in a joint venture symbolically planted 10 seedlings in the Government Primary School premises and Maariamma Temple premises on 11 June 2019 and resolved to plant and nurture at least 100 more seedlings this year once the rainy season begins. Already 100 pits are ready for the same.
Hasudi Gram Panchayat President, Vice-President, PDO and staff, the President, Office Bearers and members of Streebandhu Federation, Hasudi, Government Primary School Head Master, Staff and children were present for the programme. The enthusiasm of the children and members of Streebandhu Federation to plant more trees is a clear indication of the realization that we need to protect the Mother Earth. SMSSS animator of the area Mrs Mary Stella motivated Streebandhu Federation members to actively participate in the programme.
