Hosanagar, November 03, 2022: At the request of the Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society®, Shivamogga, Sarji Hospital, Shivamogga and Sarji Foundation, Shivamogga conducted mega health camp in the premises of St Anthony’s Church, Hosanagara on 03 November 2022. The health camp began at 10.00 AM and ended at 4.00 PM. The Chairman of Sarji Hospital and Sarji Foundation, a famous paediatrician, Dr Dhananjaya Sarji inaugurated the health camp and provided a few health tips to all the participants. Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, the Director of Chaitanya and Secretary of SMSSS thanked the management of Sarji Hospital and specially Dr Dhananjaya Sarji for the noble work he is doing in and around Shimoga through health camps and other developmental activities. His love for the poor and marginalised is driving him to conducted free health camps in different places. Fr Simon Horta OFM. Cap., the Parish Priest of St Anthony’s Church, Hosanagar appreciated the work of SMSSS and Sarji Hospital and urged the people to make the best use of such free health camps. Dr Shunya Sampad also provided a few health tips to all the participants. After the inaugural function the health camp continued.
Apart from Dr Dhananjaya Sarji, paediatrician, Dr Shunya Sampad, General Physician, Dr Chandushree, Gynaecologist and Doctors team and staff conducted the health camp. Mr Narashimhamurthy, person in charge of Marketing supervised the smooth conducting of the camp. A total of 452 people participated in the health camp. Of these 215 people underwent various tests and received medicine during the camp.
The participants expressed their gratitude for providing them such an opportunity to undergo various tests and receive free medicine.
